George A. Stice, 87, of Bates City, MO passed away May 1, 2015. Memorial service will be held May 16, 2015 at the Oak Grove Restoration Church in Oak Grove, MO. Cremation and disbursement of ashes will be in MO.
He was born on December 10, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, AR. He married Nadine Smith June 4, 1949 in Benton Harbor, MI. He worked for Whirlpool, Hammond Organ Company & had his own TV & repair business. In 1968 they moved to FL where George had his own TV Business, ABC TV. They lived in FL till 1993 when they moved to MO to help take care of Nadine’s brother & wife. He was drafted into the air force, but only served 6 months and 13 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Oleafie Stice of Stevensville, MI; wife Nadine Stice of Bates City, MO; sister, Tommy June of New Troy, MI; brother Freeman Stice of Largo, FL; daughter-in-law Cara Stice from IL.
George is survived by one brother Cecil Stice & wife Clare of Sawyer, MI; son Stephen Stice, wife Lillian of Ormond Beach, FL; Michael Stice, wife of Bejing, China; Jim Stice of Bates City, MO; Roxanne Stice Zimmerman, husband Barry of Maitland, FL; sister-in-law Sugar Baumgart & brother-in-law Lynn of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews spread throughout the United States.
