Holly Ann Scarborough, 65, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Great Plains SPCA or an animal shelter of your choice.
Holly was born February 24, 1960, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Marshall Kent and Fay Ann (Flucke) Scarborough. She owned Holly’s Floral & Gifts in Oak Grove for over 10 years. Holly loved animals, especially her new dog, “CJ”. She was a huge KC Chiefs and Royals fan and enjoyed going on road trips.
Holly is survived by her mother, Fay Bird of Grain Valley, MO; fiancé, Dwayne Meyers of Oak Grove; uncle, Ray Flucke (Sue) of Goodyear, AZ, and cousins, Toni & Anitra; and uncle, Ernie Scarborough (Jo) of Bates City, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, M. Kent Scarborough.

2 Dec 2025So sorry to hear of Holly’s passing. She was far too young to leave us. Holly and I went to school together since early elementary school and graduated from high school together in 1978. I would see her from time to time at school reunions and at her flower shop. To all of her family and friends my sincerest condolences.
