
Our beloved patriarch, Irvine Lee Tucker, 95, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 after a short illness. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Services will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with Full Military Honors will be 12:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
Irvine was born September 12, 1927 in Omaha Nebraska. The son of Irvine Spane and Ora Lee (Cooper) Tucker. In 1954, he married the love of his life, Agnes Marie (Cascairo) Tucker. Together they raised four children. They were happily joined for 63 years until her passing in 2017. Irvine had a zest for life and had many favorite hobbies. Woodworking, puzzles, fishing and boating kept him busy. He loved to take his family camping. Irvine was a member of the El Dorado Camping Club for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 41 and drove for CKC/Manley Freight Lines for 37 years. In retirement, he drove a school bus for Camden Schools for 17 years. He loved his country and was very proud of his service in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Agnes; son, William Rhoades; and sister, Lois Queener.
Irvine is survived by his daughter, Pam (John) Yates of Henderson, NV; son, Donald (Kim) Tucker of Parkville, MO; daughter, Deborah Isbell of Lee’s Summit, MO; sister, Doris Colliver; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
