Jack Lynn Cunningham II “Jackie”, 57, of Bates City, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 surrounded by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove on Tuesday, July 9th with visitation at 2:00 p.m. and funeral at 3:30 p.m., followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Jack was born on July 13th, 1966 in Bristol, Tennessee. He was the son of Jack and Louise Cunningham. Jack lived an extraordinary life. He worked as the owner and founder of a very successful company D and C Contractors for nearly 23 years. Jack had a love for Jeeps, ice cream, traveling, boating, and his beloved family. Jack was a man full of integrity and love, a man of his word, and a lover of his grandkids, wife, children, and his sister. Truly, the best man to have the pleasure of knowing.
Jack is survived by his wife Amber Cunningham of Bates City; 5 kids: daughter Haileigh DeGraffenried of Oak Grove, sons Anthony and Braden DeGraffenried of Bates City, daughter Katelynn (Cunningham) Potasnik of Lee’s Summit, daughter Breanna (Cunningham) Royston of Bates City, and many other bonus children; 7 grandchildren: Sylvie, Scarlett, Asher, Willow, Christopher (Kit), Oliver, and Ike will be welcomed in a few months; sister Sherri Hyder of Hampton, Tennessee; brother Scott Cunningham of Gate City, Virginia; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He also leaves behind his sweet dog Leo, and 2 cats Charlotte and Finley.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Louise Cunningham, sister Wendy (Cunningham) Leonard, and son Joshua Cunningham.
