Jackie and Judy dated for many years and were married on July 5, 1958, but never stopped dating during their 64 years of marriage. Their marriage was blessed with 2 sons, Chris & Curtis.
He enjoyed telling stories about his teenage shenanigans with Ray Patton and Larry Nadler. He learned to play the Guitar when he was a teenager. That started his lifelong love of playing and singing music. In the late 60’s he played at the VFW with a group of great friends every 3rd weekend. In the 70’s he started learning how to play the Pedal Steel Guitar. He still played the pedal steel up to his short hospital stay and his passing from this life. The musicians that his friend and sons introduced to him too, in the last several years, were amazed that he was able to still make his pedal steel cry. Throughout the years, he played in different groups at nursing homes, retirement homes, community centers, and the Eagle’s.
Jackie was preceded in death by beloved wife, Judy. His parents, Floyd and Josephine. His siblings Geraldine and Randy. He is survived by his sons Chris and Curtis (Nancy).
