Jeanette Ileen Grubb, 84, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to: Traditions Hospice ~ 220 N.W. Jeanette was born February 15, 1939 in Independence, Missouri. The daughter of Rodney F. and Evelyn L. (Pankratz) Horne. She grew up in Independence with one younger sister, Vicki, and three older brothers, Dave, Bob, and Roger. She graduated high school from William Chrisman in Independence in 1957. She married William Grubb on June 12, 1960. She and William had two children, Terri Lynn on October 5, 1961 and Jeffrey William, on March 2, 1964.  Jeanette worked a few jobs throughout her life but her most important to her was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grubb, her parents, Rodney and Evelyn Horne, and her brothers, Eugene Horne, Dave Horne, Bob Horne, and Roger Horne. 

Jeanette is survived by her sister, Vicki Turley (Ron), her daughter Terri Stark (Gregory), her son Jeff Grubb (Shelly), Grandchildren Alisha Pilgrim (Luke), Andrea Stark (Jesse), Jennifer Jarrett (Shaine), and Jessica Grubb, Great Grandchildren Rory Stark and Kaycee Grubb as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
