Jimmie Lee Barker, 64, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Jefferson Healthcare. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO. The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Jimmie was born July 22, 1952, in Butler MO, the son of Hubert and Aline (Steele) Barker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jimmie also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chiefs.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Joe Barker.
His survivors include two sons: Jimmie Barker Jr. (Melissa) and Adam Barker (Debbie), all of Blue Springs; ten grandchildren: Paige, Austin, Sara, Jacob, Trey, Alexis, Victoria, Madison, Aidan, & Jase; one brother, Terry Barker (Teresa) of Independence, MO; and many nieces & nephews.
