Joshua J. Bobadilla

Joshua J. Bobadilla, 82, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2021.  Visitation 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Joshua was born September 4, 1938, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  The son of Reverend Joseph G. Bobadilla and Nicolasa Muro oldest of 4 children.  Joshua retired from Lipton Tea in Independence, MO.  Joshua was a member of the Lee’s Summit Bible Church.  Joshua was kind and gentle soul who loved his family, traveling, playing basketball, racquetball, and tennis.

Joshua was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Eva (Green) Bobadilla and his parents.

Joshua is survived by his current wife Susan of the home; 3 sisters Sara Summer (Jim) Atascadero, CA, Eva Gerrard (Ed) Sandy, UT, Ruby Hissong (John) Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 daughters, Rebecca Bullock (David) Oak Grove, MO, Bonnie Dunne Odessa, MO; a son Joe Bobadilla (Ann) Raytown, MO; stepson Philip Cummons (Rachel) Lee’s Summit, MO; stepdaughter Carrie Cairns (David) Lee’s Summit, MO; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
