Joyce D. Jesse, 72, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Faith Community Church in Oak Grove.
Joyce was born August 19, 1945, in Miller, Missouri, the daughter of Claude and Pauline (Pennington) Richardson. She was a housewife and enjoyed fishing and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James Jessee; her father, Claude Richardson; her mother, Pauline Lee; one sister, Betty Andrews; and great-granddaughter, Emma Grant.
Her survivors include her brother, Jess Richardson of Hollister, MO; sister, Eva Arnell of Mt. Vernon, MO; son, John Parnell of Independence, MO; daughter, Della Groves of Oak Grove; son, Tim Parnell of Oak Grove; son, Jamie Parnell of Blue Springs, MO; son, Michael Sapp of Waldron, MO; son, Randy Sapp of Waldron, MO; daughter, Paula Sartin; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
