Joyce Elaine Peterson, 73, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20th at St. Jude Catholic Church in Oak Grove; burial in Second Creek Cemetery, Ferrellview, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Joyce was born November 11, 1947, in (town & state), the daughter of Daniel and Bernice (Wittman) Lehane. She was the Intensive Care Supervisor at St. Mary’s Hospital for many years, and then worked at Oak Grove Medical Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner. Joyce was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Oak Grove. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading, antiquing, and spending time with her family.
Joyce’s survivors include her husband, Bob Peterson of the home; two sons: Robb Peterson (Sheila) of Mt. Airy, NC, and Chad Peterson of Beaumont, TX; one granddaughter, Anna Peterson of Mt. Airy, NC; and one brother, Michael Lehane of Kansas City, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dan Lehane.
