Larry Vincent Schwaller, 83, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, followed by Graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Mulvane Cemetery in Mulvane, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove or to Paradise Outfitters, also in Oak Grove.
Larry was born April 24, 1941, in Eugene, Missouri, the son of Vincent and Eileen Vivian (Bond) Schwaller. He served his country in the United States Marines. Larry enjoyed woodworking and traveling. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove and was very active in church committees there. He was also involved in the fishing camp at Paradise Outfitters, and with Campers on Missions.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol; son-in-law, Rick Rollet; a great-grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
His survivors include three children: Lori Lebow of Oak Grove, Stacy Hassler (Michael) of Blue Springs, MO, and Troy Schwaller (Felecia) of Oak Grove; thirteen grandchildren: Elizabeth, Allen, Will, Hannah, Savannah, Dylan, Matthew, Ryan, Haley, Skyla, Isabella, Jasper, and Dakota; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Vaughn (Ralph) of Independence, MO; brother, Bill Schwaller of Independence; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
