Lester Leroy McCarty, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 20, 2023 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Inurnment will follow in the Valley Memorial Cremation Garden.

Lester was born July 5, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. The son of Bertha Louise (Adler) McCarty. He was a 1963 graduate of Raytown High School. Lester worked 35 years for Allis Chalmers and 17 years for C.K. Enterprises.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kellie.

Lester is survived by his wife Candy McCarty; grandson, Dakota Bryant (Harmony); great grandson, Trenton; sisters: Janet and Jackie; brothers: Danny and Randy.
