Melvin Guin Gant, 70, of Blue Springs, MO passed away May 20, 2021.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m.

Melvin was born January 13, 1951 in Gadsden, AL to Melvin W. & Mary A. (Taylor) Gant. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Melvin loved to go fishing.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents: Melvin & Mary Gant; sisters: Mary Mitchell, Berthel Waddell, Winnie Mae Boyce, Bonnie Allen; brother: John Gant.

Melvin is survived by his wife Saundra; son: Christopher Gant; brother: James Gant (Bonnie); sister: Sheila Mitchell (Danny); stepchildren: Katy Joy, Christy Harkins, Billy Fultz; granddaughter: Tori Gant; step-grandchildren: Amanda, Elizabeth, Mark, Josh and many nieces and nephews.
