May 11, 1957 ~ February 11, 2023  

Michael B. McCartney Sr., passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, surrounded by family and friends in his home. He fought a short but hard battle with cancer. 

Mike will be reuniting with his parents, Dorothy & Eddie Stark in Heaven.  He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Connie McCartney; 5 children: Michael McCartney Jr., Shelly Frazier, Adam McCartney, Brandy Unrein, and Ronnie Short; along with 21 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several extended family members.

Mike was a loving, caring, hardworking husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be missed dearly.  He was a business owner for the last 32 years.  Mike’s passing will be felt by many in the community.  Hunting all animals was one of his many passions – the only place he will not be missed is in the woods.

A celebration of life will be held at Mike’s home at 5:00 p.m. on May 6, 2023.
