Michael Dean Knight, 61, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with a burial in Grain Valley.

Michael loved fishing, car racing and going to the lake to relax and enjoy bar-b-que’s and fish fry’s. He is survived by his wife, Mary Knight of the home; daughter, Loretta Torres (Eloy) of Kansas City, MO; son, Mitchell Knight (Trish) of Rusk, TX; 2 sisters, Patricia Bly (John) of Odessa, Mo and Janice Kennedy (Jerry) of Globe, AZ; 8 grandchildren: Jennifer, Chloe, Jose, Kevin, Cesar, Michael, Daniel and Brandy; nephews, Todd (Brooke), Jeff (Bev), and Jason; great niece, Kaila; and great nephew, Wyatte.
