Mitchell Ray Trent Jr., 30, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for Elaina.
Mitchell was born February 25, 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Mitchell R. Trent Sr. and D. Brandy (Glover) Moore. He was a great salesman and loved computers, gaming, music, and technology. Mitchell was a loving son and father. He enjoyed going on float trips, camping, hanging out with his friends, and spending time with his family.
Mitchell’s survivors include his daughter, Elaina Trent of Lone Jack, MO; Elaina’s mother, Kira Bond of Lone Jack; his mother, Brandy Moore of Odessa, MO; his father, Mitchell R. Trent Sr (Jenny) of Raymore, MO; seven siblings: Destini Payne (& niece Izabella Brown) of Oklahoma City, OK, Derika West of Portland, OR, Tyler Trent (Cylena & nephew Teddy Trent) of Pace, FL, Mason Wendleton of Kansas City, MO, Tiffanie Plattner of Odessa, Brandon Gates of Odessa, and Piper Trent of Raymore; his paternal grandparents, Cheryl & Jim Pallas of Oak Grove; his maternal grandmother, Annette Glover of Odessa; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jeff Glover, and his paternal grandfather David Newman.
