Nancy Sue Neland Starr was born August 10th 1963 in Kansas City Missouri to Robert and Patricia Neland. She passed away at 4:16pm August 25, 2020 due to complications arising from a heart attack. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday September 13, 2020 at Fairmount Christian Fellowship 712 S Northern Blvd Independence, MO 64053
Nancy lived most of her life in the Kansas City Metro area. Nancy fell in love with Gerald Starr and they got married December 5, 1981. Three daughters were born from this marriage, Roselynn, Christina and Angela. Nancy has always enjoyed playing a good game of cards, playing board games with her grandchildren, singing/karaoke, dancing and was a member of Fairmount Christian Fellowship. For 10 years Nancy bowled on a league with Sister Cindi, Cousin Debbie and many friends. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and baking homemade peanut butter cookies. Nancy was always willing to open her home to those in need. Nancy always spoke her mind and there was never a dull moment.
Nancy was preceded in death by her Father Robert Neland and Mother Patricia Neland.
Survivors include her 3 Daughters, Roselynn Smith, Christina Griffith and Angela Griffith. 2 Siblings Cindi Page and William Neland. 11 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, 1 Nephew, Cousins, and many friends.
