Neville R. Lloyd


Neville Ray Lloyd, 75, of Blue Springs, Missouri, gained his angel wings on Monday, March 22, 2021 of Parkinson’s Disease.  Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29th in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.

Neville was born on March 14, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Neville Sr. and Betty (Hughes) Lloyd.  He graduated from East High School in 1964.  In 1966, Neville married the love of his life, Sheilah, before going into the U.S. Navy.  He was honorably discharged in 1968, after the passing of his first born, Aleisha.  They went on to have three more children: Rusty, Robyn, and Sheilah; nine grandchildren: Andra, Caydia, Paige, Aleisha, Devin, Jared, Alexis, Steven, and Neville; and four great-grandchildren: Raelynn, Taylor, Sable, and Sheilah.

Neville owned and operated America Grinding and Sales LLC for over 30 years, which was his second love of life.  He took great pride in being a business owner and serving over 200 customers.

Neville was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Aleisha, and daughter Sheilah.  He is survived by his wife, Sheilah; sister, Cindy; his son, Rusty and his three children; daughter, Robyn (Jeff) and their three children; daughter, Aleisha (Anthony) and their two children; grandson, Jared (Karra) and their two children; grandson, Steven; and his favorite buddy, Frankie.

We will always love and miss him dearly, but we know he is finally at peace.

Following the service, a Celebration of Life dinner will be held at 4927 Cumberland Road, Odessa, MO 64076, starting at 2:00 p.m.

  1. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man and I was very fond of him. Prayers for his family. Hopefully your memories will bring you comfort as you start to heal.
