Patricia “Patty” Ann Oles, 65, of Sibley, Missouri, passed away Saturday November 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15th at New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Patty was born on October 22, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of George A. Sr. and Marie Mae (Oviatt) Cole. She was a member of the Christian Assembly of God Church in Independence and a devoted wife and mother. Patty loved going out to eat with her family and was especially fond of Church’s Fried Chicken.
Patty was preceded in death by her mother; one brother, George Jr.; and one granddaughter, Cheyenne Thompson.
Her survivors include her husband, Charles Oles, Sr. of Sibley, MO; a son, Charles Oles Jr. (Christina) of Sibley; a daughter, Angela Senn (Shi) of Colorado Springs, CO; her father, George Cole Sr.; brothers and sisters: Michael Cole of Levasy, MO, Virginia Banderas of Oak Grove, MO, Brenda Herford (Melvin) of St Charles, MO, Cheryl Anderson, and Mildred Boyer (Kevin), both of Independence; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
