Peggy Jean Bloom, 86, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 after a brief stay in the Bee Hive Homes and hospice care. A celebration of life is planned for Friday, April 25, 2025 visitation 5:00 pm and service to follow at 6:00 pm at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri.
Peggy was born August 23, 1938 to Milton and Rebecca (Dena) Clary in Statesville, NC. She graduated from Iredell Memorial High School and attended Eastern Airlines Training Program in Kansas City, MO. She married James S. Bloom and raised 3 boys in the Grandview MO area. Peggy enjoyed travel, family, socializing with friends and anything to do with a beach. She is fondly remembered by her church family, the kids who rode her bus for years, and those she touched through her sororities and lady’s groups.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Jim Bloom, of the home; Three boys: Craig Bloom (Alida) of Leawood, KS, Scott Bloom (Jennifer) of Grain Valley, MO and Patrick Bloom of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren: Megan, Sarah, Ben, Kelsey, Emily, Claire and James; and 7 great grandchildren: Lily, Theodore, Lachlan, Saachi, Aadi, Kiarah, and Ailita. She was preceded in death by her parents.
