
Phillip “Phil” Vito Saladino, 66, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 9, 2021. A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. on September 18, 2021, at the Oak Grove Field House, 1300 E. White Rd, Oak Grove, MO 64075. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Foundation.
Phil was born May 18, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, to Phillip Anthony Saladino and Phyliss Shultz. He graduated from East High School in 1974. On December 21, 1974, he married Jeannine Burrola. He went to work for his stepfather, Ed Atchley and shortly after took over his flooring business. Apart from managing his company for over 40 years, Phil enjoyed his corvettes, Westerns, Motorcycles (Harley Davidsons of course), going to the lake, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Phil is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Phillip Anthony and Kathryn Saladino; his mother and stepfather, Phyliss and Ed Atchley; and a brother, John Stark.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannine Saladino; daughter, Julie Anthony (Bob); son, Phillip J. Saladino (Alecia); grandchildren: Ariana Coram (Jake), Madelyn Saladino, Marisa Coram, Tyler Coram, Isabelle Saladino, and Emilia Coram; great-granddaughter, Catalina Moore; sister, Nola Stark; niece, Nicole Hagen (Colby); as well as great-nieces and nephews, great-aunt, cousins, and friends.
