Richard Lee Massey, 74, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. No services.
Richard was born November 16, 1947 in Independence, Missouri to Oren Frances and Norma Jean (Donelson) Massey. He worked for Emmerts Welding in Independence. In 1970 he went to work for TWA/American Airlines. He started out as a Janitor and worked his way up to Mechanic. Richard married Mary Jane Gouge on December 10, 1971. He lived most of his life in his hometown of Independence, MO, but spent the last 5 years with his son in Blue Springs, MO.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Massey; son, Timothy Craig Massey; two grandchildren: Teagan Elyse Massey and Kenzlee Jean Massey; one brother, Robert Gene Massey (Jill); and many cousins, friends and family.
