  1. Richard was a good friend and co-worker. Richard had a great sense of humor and reflected on the many humorous incidents while working at the midtown branch of MAMPSC. Richard will be sorely missed.

  2. Please accept my deepest condolences. I worked with Richard at the Social Security Program Service Center. He was one of the sweetest guys I know. Hard worker and good friend.

  3. I moved from my hometown Joplin to KC in January 1974, to start a 40 year career with SSA. My very first instructor in BA Training Class was Richard, who turned out to also be from Joplin, and Maria was a year behind me at Joplin High School. Small world. That was the beginning of a long and valued friendship. After our retirements, I always looked forward to visiting with Richard at the SSA luncheons. Like many other friends he made at SSA, I will miss him greatly.
