Robert Leon Rich, 91, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove; burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Robert was born June 13, 1934, in Newton County, Arkansas, the son of Joseph D. and Retha (Shatswell) Rich. He retired from MoDOT, where he worked as a crew leader. Robert was very talented. He built oak furniture and most recently, built a trailer. Robert loved to fish and hunt as often as he could. He enjoyed family dinners and going to the casino in Tunica, MS, with his late wife, Lois. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Rich; son, Gary Rich; his parents; his brother, Charlie Rich; and sisters, Stella Campbell and Lillian Young.
His survivors include sister, Yvonne Davis of Kansas City, KS; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
