Robert Steven Ellis, 68, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1 at 1302 S. Kings Highway, Independence, MO 64055.
Robert was born July 4, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of John W. and Ida E. (Overby) Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ellalee Ellis, and son Keith Decker.
His survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lillian “Sue” Ellis; four children: Jamie Gladbach, Michelle Starr, Bobby Taylor, and John Ross Ellis; four grandchildren: Britni Brayfield, Samantha Hopkins, Kallie Decker, and Kynzi Gladbach; and two great-grandchildren: Braelyn Brayfield and Bentley Brayfield.
