Ronnie Joe Brooks, 77, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Ronnie was born December 18, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. The son of Irvin and Eava Joyce (Farier) Brooks. He loved spending time outdoors, rather it be fishing, hunting or just taking a walk. Ronnie was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching the games with his family. He served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He never knew a stranger,

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Brooks; brother, Pat Berry; sister, Elaine Berry; and sister, Kathy Lee.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Glenna Brooks; daughter, Candace Brooks; Kevin Caldwell; daughter, Tiffany Yunker (Robert); brother, Dennis Berry (Margaret); brother, Michael Brooks (Nola); brother, Terry Berry (Lorna); sister, Connie Penick; sister, Hope Huggins; brother, Steve Berry; sister, Karen Henson (Roy); brother, Glenn Berry; brother, Keith Berry; brother, David Berry; sister, Barbie Mathia; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
