Sharon Kay Jacobs, 82, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. A visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Soul’s Harbour Assembly of God Church.
17142 E. 39th St. S. Independence, MO. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2nd 2021 in Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. KCMO 64133. In lieu of flowers, Sharon requested donations be made to the Soul’s Harbour Assembly of God Church.
Sharon was born March 26, 1939 in Union County, Iowa, she was one of eight born to Jesse A. and Marie (Mickles) Roan. She had a great love for her church and God. Sharon also loved playing different games and cards. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for the family which will be forever treasured. Sharon had a caring soul and she was loved by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Leon Jacobs; and six siblings.
Sharon is survived by four sons: John (Ritsuko) Jacobs of Okinawa, Japan, Tim (Terri) Jacobs, Scott (Carol) Jacobs, and J.R. Jacobs all residing in this area. Two sisters: Lois Reed and Sue Brannlund; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
