Steve Edward Welch, 58, of Blue Springs, MO passed away October 19, 2021.

Steve was born December 1, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Jack C & Dorothy M (Jones) Welch. He married Diane R. Short on October 30, 1987. Steve was a competitive softball player for over 20 years. He also was a pool player in the APA League for over 20 years, being a Captain for 15 of those years. Steve was an avid Chiefs and Royal’s fan. Steve was also a big fan of KU Basketball, Notre Dame Football and NASCAR. He loved his family.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents: Jack & Dorothy Welch; brother: Jack Welch, Jr; sister: Vicki Lynn Stewart.
Steve is survived by his wife Diane; stepsons: Paul Brown & wife Tina, Eric Brown; grandchildren: Daniel Brown and Ryan Brown.
