Terrie Lynn McDonough, 57 of Independence, MO, passed away March 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday April 1, 2019 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial at New Salem Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in Memory of Terrie to American Cancer Society 1100 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City, MO 64105.
Terrie was born August 7, 1961 in Independence, MO to William Stevenson and Marietta (Flippin) Chambers. She married Brian McDonough on June 17, 1995. Terrie enjoyed cooking, was a huge Chiefs fan and loved spending time with her family. She worked in the medical field for 28 years.
Terrie was preceded in death by her father: William P. Stevenson.
Terrie is survived by her husband Brian of the home; 4 children: Cynthia Holloway & husband William of Ottawa, KS, Anthony Ferro & wife Kari of Independence, MO, Joshua Ferro & wife Andrea of Independence, MO, Jessica Ferro & husband Adam of Kanas City, MO; mother: Marietta Chambers of Independence, MO; 3 sisters: Deborah Marshall of Independence, MO, Dana Chambers of Independence, MO, Jill Antes of Oak Grove, MO; 1 brother: William Stevenson of Overland Park, KS; 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
