
Thomas M. Chapin Born February 3rd, 1955 to Ronald and Patricia Chapin. Thomas grew up locally in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Winnetonka High School, where he also played and grew an undeniable love for baseball. He continued his education in Electronics in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Upon return to Kansas City, Thomas enjoyed being a self-employed landscapist, and spending his time outdoors focusing on fitness. When not outdoors, Thomas spent a large majority of his time cheering on our Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Saturday, January 29th Thomas (67) was called home to Heaven joining his daughter Brittany and saved a spot for his mother Patricia. He continues to watch over his father Ronald. Daughters: Asia, and Tomi. Sons: Brian, Travis, and Houston. And continues to cheer on his grandchildren: Samuel, Camilla, Hayden, Holly and Aniylah. He will be remembered for his kind heart, joyful smile, and witty personality.
Patricia A. Chapin born November 2nd, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri. Patricia is a graduate of St. Teresa’s Academy. She later found an occupation in accounts payable at Princeton University for 10 years. She also spent time doing Home Interior Designing locally in Kansas City as well. Although Patricia resided mostly in Blue Springs, Missouri; she also spent time living in New Jersey. She was happily married to her husband Ronald Chapin for 69 years. Patricia enjoyed her time traveling, shopping, going to the casino and laughing with her grandchildren. Patricia (86) was called home to Heaven Saturday February 25th surrounded by family in the comforts of her own home. Patricia joins her parents: Laurine and Sterling Spencer, son Thomas, sister Brenda, and granddaughter Brittany in Heaven. And continues to watch over her husband Ronald, Granddaughters: Asia, and Tomi. Grandsons: Brian, Travis, and Houston. And great-grandchildren: Samuel, Camilla, Hayden, Holly and Aniylah, and sisters: Rosie and Linda. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, great hair, and contagious love.
With heavy hearts, the Chapin family asks that you join them in the remembrance of their dynamic duo, Thomas and Patricia Chapin. Their generous spirits, and compelling compassion will be deeply missed.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10th at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
