Independence, Missouri- Thomas Wayne Verhulst, age 49, was born on November 29, 1974, in Kansas City, Kansas, and passed away on June 8, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Vivian (Clarkson) Verhulst; his father, Allan Verhulst; his brothers, Tim (Anne), Kevin (Linda), and Dan (Danette) Verhulst; and his sister, Valerie (Mike) Venerdi. He is also survived by his children Alex Pacheco and Tiffany Verhulst, as well as 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Verhulst.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, MO. The receiving will be at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Shep’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary, 17012 E. Truman Road, Independence MO, 64056.
