Her favorite music was anything Elvis. She loved to have fun and laugh. Even after being diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, she continued to be on the go, always with a smile. She had a quick wit and even loved to play pranks.

Violet was a creator of memories. Through road trips, celebrating holidays and planning family traditions, she knew how to gather her family together. She made sure to preserve all the memories she made in scrapbooks and journals.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints, she taught many generations to come unto Christ and was known as a favorite teacher to all in her classes. She also helped serve in the women’s Relief Society organization at church as a secretary and compassionate service leader. Violet was quick to find ways to serve anyone in need and her ability to lovingly listen was an admired trait.

Violet loved family and friends and centered her life around them.  But always at the core was her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was truly an example of a Christlike individual.
