Waylon C. Williams


Waylon Cole Williams, 18, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.  Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 11th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Waylon was born July 26, 2003, in Blue Springs, Missouri, the son of Alan D. and Dana L. (Burton) Williams.  He was a great son, brother, uncle, and an incredible friend to everyone.  Waylon knew no stranger.  He lit up the room and made everyone smile even at the saddest times.  He was the life of the party.  His passion in life was his guitar and he could play any song by ear.  He also loved to deer hunt and ride motorcycles.  He was taken too soon and will be loved and missed by so many.

Waylon is survived by his parents, Alan and Dana Williams; four brothers: Jake Williams (Tara), Ty Williams (Kalynn), Jesse Williams, and Cooper Williams; four nephews: Braxton, Weston, Wyatt, and Kyler; one niece, Briley; his grandma, Dixie Williams; and many other family members and friends.
