Kitty Clide Henley, 67, formerly of Blue Springs, Mo, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to defray funeral cost can be made to Amanda Phillips.
Kitty was born May 18, 1955 in Jackson County Missouri. The daughter of Clyde D. and Annie Lois (Johnson) Holmes. She lived in Arizona for the past 7 years with her daughter, Amanda. Kitty read her Bible often. Taking walks, photography and cooking were just a few of the things she enjoyed. She was known for her compassionate nature with a servant’s heart. Kitty’s grandson was the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Henley; several siblings; and Amandas father, Steven Henley.
Kitty is survived by her daughter, Amanda Phillips of Surprise AZ; grandson, Dawson Phillips of Surprise AZ; 3 sisters: Doris Snodgrass of Blue Springs, MO, Becky Moore of Clinton, MO, and Dorothy Roberts of Clinton, MO; 2 sisters-in-law’s: Ginger Duhon, and Lynn Cunningham of TX; brother-in-law, J.R. Henley of TX; and several nieces and nephews.
