Cathi Marie Cook, 54, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away July 25, 2022.
Visitation will be 11:00am-12:00pm Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers family suggest contributions to the family to help with funeral expenses.
Cathi was born August 31, 1967 in Independence, MO to William & Willetta (Hennrich) Bishop. She married Steven Cook on July 27, 2014. Cathi was a member of St Ann’s Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1985. Cathi enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and swimming. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and was known for her chocolate sheet cake. Cathi loved her family very much and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved her dog, Stella. Cathi always had a smile for everyone.
Cathi was preceded in death by her parents: William & Willetta Bishop; sister: Lori Bishop and an infant brother: Ricky.
Cathi is survived by her husband Steven Cook; daughters: Morgan Prodehl, Anna Prodehl; stepdaughter: Felicia Cook; grandchildren: Makenzie and Robert Herrin; sisters: Tami Jones, Cindy Laughlin; brother: Bill Bishop and many nieces and nephews.
