Barbara Lee Hacker, 93, of Clinton, MO passed away October 14, 2022. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 29, 2022 at Farview Restoration Branch 11404 E. 24th Street South, Independence, MO 64052.
Barbara was born December 13, 1928 in York, NE to Allen & Ellice (Rusler) Sershen. She was a member of the RLDS Church. Barbara was very active in her church and considered the church to be her extended family. One of Barbara’s favorite things to do was eat breakfast every morning with her girl friends at Denny’s. She enjoyed working in her flower garden. Barbara loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2011; parents: Allen & Ellice Sershen and 1 sister: Shirleen McCue.
Barbara is survived by her 2 sons: Brian Hacker (Tami) of Clinton, MO, David Hacker (Karen) of Independence, MO; 1 brother: Richard Sershen (Shirley) in AZ; 2 sisters: Rita Schow (Roger) of Las Vegas, NV, Lucille “Cookie” Campbell – CA; 7 grandchildren: Andrew Hacker (Jennifer), Ryan Hacker, Christopher Santa (Amanda), Stephaney Robinson (Derek) Cecilee Robinson (Terri), Heather White (Nathaniel), Brianna Santa (Garrett); 9 great-grandchildren: Brody Hacker, Calla Hacker, Mason Santa, Luke Santa, Harleigh Robinson, Avery Robinson, Amelia Robinson, Anara White, Brooklynn McAllister. Barbara is also survived by her best friend Sir Oliver & many nieces and nephews.
