LeRoy “Lee” Otto Isetts Jr., 70, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Oak Grove Christian Church, 118 West 22nd Street, Oak Grove, MO. Family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Oak Grove Christian Church.
LeRoy was born July 31, 1939 in Ledington, MI to LeRoy O. Sr. and Lillian (Foster) Isetts. On September 14, 1985 he married Pauletta R. France of Bates City, MO at the home of Ray and Peggy France. Mr. Isetts was employed by the Missouri Highway Department and Woodward-Clyde Consultants/ URS before becoming disabled in 1999. He was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church, the Boy Scouts of America and the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Robert A. Isetts.
His survivors include his wife of 24 years: Pauletta France-Isetts of the home; three sons: Rick Thomas of Bear Lake, MI, LeRoy Isetts III and Ray Isetts of the home; three daughters, Laura Sidwell and her husband Todd of Centerpoint, MO, Amy Isetts of Oak Grove, MO and Nicole Isetts of the home; two brothers: William Isetts of Escanba, MI and Gerald Isetts of Pinconning, MI; one sister: Joyce Isetts of Carabelle, FL, his father and mother in law, Ray and Peggy France; two sister-in-laws: Darlene Burns of Oak Grove, MO and Marlene Johnson of Odessa, MO and 12 grandchildren.
