Wendy S. Campbell, 65, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Wendy was born January 4, 1958, in Panorama City, CA, the daughter of Robert and Seema (Rosen) Sperling. She loved all children, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed helping them become young adults. Wendy was a big Chiefs fan and loved crafts, garden gnomes, and ducks. She made it okay to be weird.
Wendy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jeff Stonehocker.
Her survivors include four children: Jennifer Campbell of Lone Jack, MO, Jonathan Campbell of Carroll, IA, Thomas Lancaster of Kansas City, MO, and Sarah Lancaster of Independence, MO; six grandchildren: Lilly Campbell, Kennedy Campbell, Kaleb Campbell, Zackaryan Tasker, Dominik Lancaster, and Harley Lancaster; and two sisters: Leeanne Middendorf (Larry) of Orange, CA, and Sharon Spinell of North Hollywood, CA.
