Kyle Okoye LeHotta

Kyle Okoye LeHotta, 18, of Independence, MO passed away April 7, 2023.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 p.m.

Kyle was born to Kyle Soberalski and Tara Cochran on September 10, 2004 in St. Louis, MO. Kyles legal parents are Calvin & Shannon (Bryant) LeHotta. He was big in the wrestling community. He loved to be a clown, and be as lighthearted in any situation. Kyle enjoyed music, movies and video games. He was a big Chiefs and Royals fan. He was interested in every sport you can think of. He knew stats of sports stars he didn’t even watch. Kyle had a huge heart and was a big people pleaser. He was a car fanatic; he had taken a picture next to every car at the Branson Museum of cars. Kyle was so smart, never had to do homework, and always aced his tests. His love for food, particularly cheeseburgers, was incredible as he never gained a lb. His sophomore year he was accepted into the Fire Fighters program at the Fort Osage CTC. Kyle strived to be the absolute best in anything that he was involved in. From being the best brother and friend to Kylie, being the best big brother to Dominic, to working on what the wrestling world calls a ‘trophy’ in earning his cauliflower ear. His dreams were not unreachable, not for him. Kyle poured his heart into just about everything, but cleaning his room…lol. Kyle is now our protector. Til we hold each other again.

Kyle is survived by his parents: Calvin & Shannon (Bryant) LeHotta; siblings: Kylieanna LeHotta, Dominic LeHotta, Karlyanna Cochran, Colton Randall; nephew: Jordan Bittiker, Jr.; grandparents: Donald & Christine Bryant, Patricia LeHotta, Todd Hurtado; great-grandfather: Gene Stein; great-grandmother: Carolyn Barkley and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
