Bill Worth Terrill, 86, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove or Oak Grove Christian Church.
Bill was born June 9, 1934, in Flippin, Arkansas, the son of Steven and Nova (Keeter) Terrill. He worked on the assembly line at the General Motors Leeds Plant for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Bill was also a beekeeper and had been the Coffman Bend Fire Chief. He enjoyed rebuilding cars, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He attended Grain Valley Baptist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rose, in 2005; son, Rocky Terrill in 2012; four great-grandchildren; his stepmother, Edith Terrill; and three siblings: Lee Terrill, James Terrill, and Edith Baker.
His survivors include his children: Bill Terrill Jr. of Oak Grove, Donna Linkhart (John) of Holden, MO, Diane Sanderson (Joe) of Holden, James Cuda (Rosalie) of Odessa, MO, and Cathy Smith (Randy) of Oak Grove; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers: Dale Terrill (Barbara) of Odessa, and Rick Terrill (Rita) of Harrison, AR.
