Betty Jo Bullard was born in Independence, Missouri on May 5th, 1924 to Joseph Bridges and Adeline Thompson Bridges. She passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 99. She graduated from William Chrisman High School on May 14, 1942 and married Dick L. Bullard on May 15, 1942. To their union were born four children. Linda Kay Bullard, Richard Joe Bullard, Barbara Jean Bullard and Betty Sue Bullard. She was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1951. Betty worked as a secretary for many years. She was proficient in piano and organ and played both for many years at different congregations of her church. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Adeline Bridges, brothers, Joseph and Cecil, daughters, Linda Kay Gouldsmith and Betty Sue Bullard and Son, Richard Joe Bullard. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Basquette, sisters Pearl Johnson, and Cora Mortensen, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
