Betty Bay, 83, passed away on September 5, 2023, surrounded by family at Centerpoint Hospital. Betty requested a small graveside service, which will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Buckner Cemetery.
Betty was born on March 15, 1940 and grew up in the Sibley, MO area. She married her high school sweetheart, Don Bay, in 1960.
Everyone who met Betty loved her. She was the favorite aunt to so many nieces and nephews. She was a mentor to so many teens during her years working at the Osage Drive In. Betty enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and cheering for her Chiefs every week. She loved antiquing, country music, dogs, and the occasional trip to the casino. She and Don made so many memories traveling throughout the US and Mexico over the years.
Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don Bay, and her sisters, Shirley Jacobs, Carol Davis, and Janie Jeffries and many nieces and nephews.
