Barbara Jean (Eldridge) Lee was born June 8, 1937, in Gentry, Arkansas, to White and Reola Eldridge. Barbara was the eldest of 2 daughters. At 14, Barbara met the love of her life Bobby Wayne Lee at Gentry High School. Over the next 2 years, their love blossomed, and Bob and Barbara were married on September 1, 1953, and were married more than 69 years until his death in November 2022. Bob and Barbara had 2 children, Teresa and Tony.
Barbara spent her life working in the home and supporting her family. Barbara was always ready to provide hospitality to those around her. Barbara was always waiting on someone, whether it be serving her husband and family or welcoming others into her home.
