Clayton Matthew Arnold, 20, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 also at the funeral home; burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Clayton was born in Independence, MO, son of Jeremy Arnold and Tabitha Little. He was a 2015 graduate of Grain Valley High School. He had an amazing heart, was a caring and loving person. He enjoyed playing video games, loved art and was a good big brother.

Clayton’s survivors include his mother, Tabitha Arnold (Bobby Hoerl) of Kansas City, MO; father, Jeremy (Tammy) Arnold of Oak Grove, MO; brother, Aleck Arnold of Oak Grove, MO; step brothers and sisters, Tessa Mendenhall, Brianna Huckleberry, Maxwell Reber and Carson Hoerl; maternal grandparents, Teresa Hudson and Mike Shawnee, OK; paternal grandparents, Ken Arnold of Henley, MO and Laverna Witt (John O’Brien) of Independence, MO; step grandparents, Randy and Sharon Rousseau of Olathe, KS; and aunts and uncles, Josh Hudson, Jennifer Hudson, Tiffany Ritchey and Faye Arnold.
