Adam F. Smith, 41, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2024, doing what he loved; playing games with his friends and brother. Adam was born to Richard and Sandra Smith on July 5, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was very talented when it came to computers and attended Vatterott College and received an Associates degree in Information Technology. After graduating, he had several IT related jobs before he began his career at Fike Corporation. He worked in IT at Fike for 15 years. Other than computers, Adam loved gaming and anime, but most of all, his daughter Sam. He was a goof who will be remembered for his loud voice, even louder laughter, kind heart, and willingness to help others any way he could.
Adam is survived by his daughter Samantha (Smith) and husband Nathan Fisher, mother Sandra (Kreisel) Smith, and brother Christopher Warren Smith, along with several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Smith, and uncles Warren, Raymond, and Christopher Smith.
Services for Adam will be held on Monday, February 12th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm, service will be held at 6:00pm. The family asks that attendees wear purple in honor of Adam.
