Donna Lee Follis, 84, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Centerpoint Medical Center, surrounded by family members. She will be laid to rest in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.

Donna was born February 10, 1940 in Kansas City, MO. She met her husband Allen and they got married in 1967. In 1974, they moved to Oak Grove, where they raised their 3 daughters.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Allen Follis; 2 daughters: Janice Gibler of Independence, MO, and Carrie Follis of Oak Grove; a son-in-law, Jeff McCann of Oak Grove; 2 grandchildren: granddaughter, Cammie Cathey and her husband Alex Cathey of Grain Valley, MO, and grandson, Keehin McCann of Oak Grove; great-granddaughter Nora Cathey; a beloved brother Bill Roe and his wife Ella of Lone Jack, MO; niece, Brenda Cox of Independence, MO, and her children Carrie, Tasia, Mikaela, Jesse and their children; and niece Carolyn and Barbara Roe Johns Fletcher of Kansas City, MO; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clell and Velma (Knapp) Roe, and a daughter, Kimberly Royles.

Donna was loved by many and she will be forever missed.
