Vivian Lorene Reddell, 90, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 with her daughters by her side. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Blue Springs Assembly Church. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Ascend Hospice.
Vivian was born March 23, 1934 in Newton County, Arkansas to Marvin and Edna Jane (Adams) Hampton. She worked at Sears in the mail order department for over 30 years. After retiring she and Rosie spent many years traveling in their RV across the country. Vivian enjoyed quilting and made quilts for many of her family members. She loved her grandkids and spending time with them. Vivian’s family was most important to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Wilbern “Rosie” Reddell; infant daughter, Connie Reddell; 4 brothers: Herbert, Hubert, Homer and Hariol Hampton; 3 sisters: Bernice Freeman, Inez Villines and Johnette Pouge.
Vivian is survived by 3 daughters: Sandy Manley of Mayview, MO, Debbie (Mike) Boltz of Grain Valley, MO, and Sheila (Jeff) Wilke of Grain Valley, MO; grandchildren: Cody (Katie) Manley, Dillion Manley (Melissa Girven), Teresa (Travis) Hunt, Matthew Boltz, Janean (Vince) Galate, Kelsey (Brian) Mitchell, Lanae (Wilson) Gaschler; and 18 great-grandchildren.
