Christa Rae Brodigan, 33, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christa’s children. Christa was born on January 13, 1991, in Wichita, Kansas, to Douglas Brodigan and Jessica Bertz. She was a free spirit with a deep sense of spirituality, a gifted writer, and a talented artist. Christa had recently been accepted into the Kansas City Art Institute, a testament to her creativity and passion. She had a profound love for children, and her children were always her highest priority. Christa was a devoted Christian and a member of Christ Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Elliott; her grandfather, Michael Wright; and her cousin, Tanner Twitchell.
Christa is survived by her daughter, Xiomara Solis; her son, Noah Pagan-Brodigan; her mother, Jessica Bertz; her father, Douglas Brodigan; her brother, Isaac Elliott; her sister, Taylor Elliott; her stepsister, Macey Elliott; and numerous aunts and uncles.
