Elnore Nell McDonald Groseclose passed away to Heaven on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the age of 91. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Odessa Youth Ministries.
Elnore was born February 7, 1933, in Webster County, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Birdie (Hargis) McDonald. She married John H. Groseclose on December 4, 1951, in Springfield, MO.
Preceding her in death were her husband; her daughter, Doris Graham; her parents; an infant twin sister, Alma Belle McDonald; and four brothers: Franklin, Paul, Maril, and Glenn McDonald.
Elnore is survived by her brother, Robert McDonald of Strafford, MO; three children: John David Groseclose and partner Vanessa of Camdenton, MO, Beverly Darlene Reeder of Bates City, MO, and Faye Nell Lance and husband Rick of Holden, MO; nine grandchildren: Kristi Tresler and husband Davy, Angela French and husband Joshua, T.J. Lance, Christopher Groseclose and wife Jennifer, Amanda Evans and husband Robert, Samantha Triplett and husband Luther, Lori Groseclose, Alyssa Groseclose, and John Gruber; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
