Keith Andrew Llewellyn of Independence, Missouri passed away on February 20, 2025. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Keith was born on December 1, 1957 in Frostburg, Maryland to Francis and Marion Phillips. He grew up in a small town in western Maryland called Gilmore. Keith graduated from Valley High School. He attended the government Job Corp program. Keith became employed by and retired from Union Pacific Railroad in Kansas City, Missouri. Keith married Joyce Powell and together they had a wonderful son, Jade Andrew Llewellyn. He later married the love of his life, Anita Marie Porter, and raised a beautiful daughter, Stephanie. Playing baseball was one of Keith’s favorite activities. He especially loved time spent with his dogs. Keith was extremely proud of his family and was very excited for the future they built together.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Anita; son, Jade (Julia) Llewellyn of Maryland; daughter, Stephanie Marie Llewellyn of Missouri; sister, Charlotte (Theodore) Sasso of New Jersey; brothers: David Llewellyn of Maryland, Tim (Deborah) Llewellyn of Maryland; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
